This photo show ya 2 colour set, 4 yellow and 12 orange. If your disc has 36 numbers then setting it like this will give you a different patter, the" CROSS", and I will show ya how the cord should look after this.
I suggest ya to use same ply of cotton, this time I use 4 ply.
But in another project I use a thicker cotton for the cross and it look different. you will see soon what I mean.

Aquí pueden ver esta foto con 16 hilos, en dos colores, naranja y amarillo. Si tu disco tiene 36 numeros, si lo enebras de esta manera en que ves en la foto tendraás un diseño diferente conseguirás poner una CRUZ en tu cordón de kumihimo.

Te sujiero que uses siempre un hilo con los mismos ply pues si pones otro ply en la cruz, te quedará diferente.
